http://fhaloanmichigan.org/.well-known/ALFA_DATA Welcome to the Cathedral Court Co-operative Homes website.
Cathedral Court Co-op is one of two co-ops in the St.Lawrence Neighbourhood that contain a group home for developmentally disabled children. New Visions Group Homes, a tenant of the co-op, was established under the name Ceci’s Homes for Children by Vern Heinrichs in memory of his daughter Ceci to provide care for children suffering from neurological disabilities..
The building was designed by Robinson and Heinrichs Architects, opened in 1979 and incorporates features such as red brick and arched doorways which were found in buildings in the old Town of York.
Housing co-ops are in every neighbourhood in the city.
A co-op can be a medium size apartment building or townhouses. People who live in co-ops come from every walk of life. They are people with different backgrounds, varied incomes and sometimes they are people with special needs. These diverse and vibrant communities are the unique strength of housing co-ops.
